1Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Paragdise Ventures LLC ("we," "us," or "our") for your use of HomeroomCal ("the Service") at homeroomcal.com.

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use HomeroomCal.

2Who Can Use HomeroomCal

You must be 18 or older to create an account. HomeroomCal is for parents and guardians.

The Service is not for children. Do not give a child your sign-in link, your family's forwarding address, or a share link.

3Your Account

You sign in with a link sent to your email address. Keep that email account secure, because anyone who can read it can sign in to HomeroomCal.

Your forwarding address, calendar link, and share links are private. You are responsible for who you share them with. You can rotate your calendar link and revoke share links at any time.

Please give us accurate information and keep your email address up to date.

4What the Service Does

HomeroomCal reads the school and activity emails you forward to it, extracts events, forms and deadlines, payments, and closures, and puts them on a family calendar with a morning digest.

Items HomeroomCal is not sure about wait for your review. You can edit or dismiss any item.

5Important: Check the Original

HomeroomCal uses AI to read mail, and it can be wrong. Extraction will sometimes be incomplete, and dates, times, amounts, or details may be missed or misread.

Always check your school's or organization's original message before relying on a dismissal time, fee, deadline, or permission slip. HomeroomCal is not an official school or district notice, and it does not replace one.

We are not responsible for missed events, late forms, late payments, or other consequences of relying on extracted information without checking the original.

6Free Trial

New families get 14 days of access with no card required.

When the trial ends, HomeroomCal stops reading new mail and sending the morning digest until you subscribe. Your existing calendar items stay available.

If you subscribe during the trial, your paid plan begins when the original trial ends. Subscribing does not start a second trial. If less than 48 hours of the trial remain when you subscribe, you may be charged right away.

7Plans, Billing, and Cancellation

HomeroomCal costs $6 per month or $59 per year. Applicable taxes may be added at checkout. Prices may change, and we will tell you before a change affects your plan.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.

You can cancel or update your payment method at any time in the Stripe customer portal. When you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period and does not renew.

Payments are generally non-refundable, except where required by law. If something went wrong, email us and we will look at it fairly.

8Your Content

You keep ownership of the messages and attachments you forward and the calendar items you create.

You give us permission to store, process, and display that content only as needed to run the Service for you. This includes sending it to our service providers, such as Google's Gemini API for reading mail, as described in our Privacy Policy.

We do not sell your content, show ads, or use your mail to train our own AI models.

9Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Forward mail you do not have the right to forward
• Send mail to another family's forwarding address
• Use HomeroomCal to harass, spam, or harm anyone
• Try to break, overload, or get around the security of the Service
• Use the Service for anything unlawful

HomeroomCal may refuse messages that are too large, have too many PDF pages, or go over monthly limits.

10Suspension and Ending Your Account

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. This permanently deletes your family's data, as described in our Privacy Policy. Deleting your account also asks Stripe to cancel any active subscription. If you are charged afterward, cancel in the Stripe portal or contact us.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms or abuse the Service. If we stop offering HomeroomCal, we will give you reasonable notice.

11Availability

We work to keep HomeroomCal running, but the Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not promise it will always be available or error-free, or that a morning digest will arrive every day, especially if one of our service providers is down.

12Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Paragdise Ventures LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of HomeroomCal.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for HomeroomCal in the 12 months before the claim.

13Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

14Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as HomeroomCal changes. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. If a change significantly affects your rights, we will let you know by email before it takes effect.

Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
