1Introduction

Paragdise Ventures LLC ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy.

This Privacy Policy explains how HomeroomCal ("the Service"), available at homeroomcal.com, collects, uses, and protects information.

HomeroomCal turns the school and activity emails you forward into one family calendar and a morning digest. It is built for parents and guardians.

HomeroomCal works only with mail you choose to forward. It never logs in to your inbox, shows no ads, and does not sell your information.

2Who the Service Is For

HomeroomCal is for parents and guardians who are 18 or older. You must be 18 or older to create an account.

The Service is not directed to children. Please do not give a child your sign-in link, your family's forwarding address, or a share link.

3Information We Collect

To provide the Service, we collect and store:

• Your email address, used for sign-in links and your morning digest
• Your family name, used to create your private forwarding address
• The first name and optional nickname of each child you add
• Messages you forward to your family address, including PDF and image attachments
• The events, forms and deadlines, payments, and closures extracted from those messages, along with any edits you make
• Billing identifiers from Stripe, such as your customer ID, subscription ID, plan, and status

We do not store full card numbers. Payment details are handled by Stripe.

4Information We Do Not Collect

HomeroomCal is designed to collect as little as possible. We do not:

• Connect to or log in to your Gmail, Outlook, iCloud, or any other inbox
• Ask for a child's last name, student ID, address, or photo
• Create accounts for children
• Show ads or use advertising trackers

5How Forwarding Works

Each family gets a private forwarding address on homeroomcal.com. Mail sent to that address is read by the Service.

By default, HomeroomCal accepts mail only from senders you have verified. An optional setting also accepts school mail you forward automatically from Gmail. You can turn that setting off at any time.

When you set up automatic forwarding, we store the confirmation link from your email provider so the forwarding can be confirmed. We do not keep the rest of that confirmation message.

6How We Use Information

We use your information only to run HomeroomCal:

• Reading forwarded mail and turning it into calendar items
• Showing items that need your review
• Sending sign-in links, sender verification, and your morning digest
• Providing your calendar feed and any share links you create
• Managing your trial and subscription
• Keeping the Service secure and fixing problems

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your mail to train our own AI models.

7AI Processing

To read forwarded messages and attachments, HomeroomCal sends their contents to Google's Gemini API, which extracts dates, times, places, deadlines, and costs.

HomeroomCal uses Google's paid service tier. Under Google's terms for that tier, Google does not use this content to improve its products or train its models.

AI extraction can be wrong or incomplete. Always check your school's original message before relying on dismissal times, fees, or permission slips. HomeroomCal is not an official school or district notice.

8Service Providers

We use a small number of service providers to run HomeroomCal. Each receives only what it needs to do its job:

• Cloudflare: website hosting, database, file storage, and incoming email routing
• Resend: sign-in emails, sender verification, and your morning digest
• Stripe: checkout, free trial, subscriptions, and the customer billing portal
• Google: Gemini API for reading forwarded messages

These providers handle information under their own privacy policies and our agreements with them.

9Sharing Your Calendar

Your family calendar feed uses a secret link. If you rotate that link in Settings, the old one stops working.

You can create read-only share links for a co-parent, grandparent, or caregiver, limited to the children you choose. A share link stays active until you revoke it.

Shared pages ask search engines not to index them, and they never include your original emails.

Anyone with a share link can view what it shows, so share links only with people you trust.

10Data Retention

Original forwarded emails and attachments are deleted automatically 30 days after they arrive. After that, an item's source view shows that the original was deleted.

Calendar items you keep stay until you delete them or delete your account.

Service logs are scrubbed of email addresses, phone numbers, and similar identifiers.

11Deleting Your Account

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. This permanently deletes your family, users, children, mail, files, calendar items, share links, and sessions.

If you have an active subscription, HomeroomCal asks Stripe to cancel it when you delete your account. If you are charged again after deleting your account, cancel in the Stripe customer portal or contact us and we will make it right.

12Data Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including secret, hard-to-guess links for forwarding addresses, calendar feeds, and share links.

No system is completely secure. Keep your sign-in email account protected, and rotate your calendar link or revoke share links if you think one has been exposed.

13Your Choices and Rights

You can:

• Choose which messages to forward
• Edit or dismiss any extracted item
• Turn off accepting mail forwarded automatically from Gmail
• Rotate your calendar link and revoke share links
• Cancel your subscription in the Stripe customer portal
• Delete your account and all of its data from Settings

You may also contact us to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law. We will respond to requests within a reasonable time.

14Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as HomeroomCal changes or as laws change.

When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. If a change significantly affects how we handle your information, we will let you know by email before it takes effect.
